In the event any tree shall be determined to be in a hazardous
or dangerous condition so as to endanger the public health, welfare,
or safety, and require less immediate removal, pruning, or treatment
without delay, verbal authorization may be given by the Board of Park
Commissioners, in conjunction with the Urban Tree Commission, and
the Tree Warden and/or Director of Community Maintenance, and such
treatment as shall be required to remedy the situation shall be undertaken
without obtaining a permit as herein required.
