§ 2-805. Inspection of building materials and construction.

As often as is practicable, the Inspectional Services Division shall inspect the materials used in the construction or the repairing of any building. It shall also examine the construction of any building in the process of erection or repair and so far as necessary therefor may enter any building or premises. It shall also examine all buildings which may be reported to it as in a dangerous or damaged condition by reason of fire, accident or other cause and shall make a record of such condition, together with the street and number of the building, the name of the owner or occupant and purpose for which it is used. It shall examine all buildings concerning which application has been made for a license to construct, enlarge, alter, repair or raze and shall make a record of such examination.
